How to install an anti-escape fence transmitter

Operation of the anti-escape system :

dog fence transmitter

The transmitter is used to send the radio signal into the cable of your anti-escape fence, the signal is then picked up by the receiver collar, if the receiver collar is too close to the cable it emits an audible warning and if it comes closer it sends an electrostatic correction.

The transmitters are ideally placed inside the house, garage or shed with electricity.

You can adjust the distance for the sound warning, for example at 12 feet the dog receives a warning, or if your land is smaller you can move the signal closer, closer to the wire.

If the wire breaks on almost all models, an alarm will sound to warn you.

On some models it is also possible to adjust the intensity of the electric shock, although on almost all models the correction is adjusted directly on the receiving collar.

The best place to install the anti-runaway transmitter?

It is made to be installed on a wall, using screws.

You need the space near a standard electrical outlet, otherwise you can always use an extension.

If you install the control box outside, you will need to place it in a location protected from water.

The cold is not very serious, there just shouldn't be too much humidity or water directly on the transmitter box.

Pass the wire inside:

If you install the transmitter indoors, you will have to pass the wire into the house, this wire is not that big, so easy to pass under a door or slot, however the best solution is to make a small hole in the exterior wall.

Once the hole is made, you insert the twisted wire, then you use a sealant to not let the cold get inside.

All you have to do is plug it into a power outlet and turn it on.
