Please read this entire guide before you begin

Important information

Do not use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this product if your dog is aggressive, or if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior. Aggressive dogs can cause serious injury and even death to their owner and others. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or a licensed trainer.

The receiver collar will go into deep sleep if no operation for 4 minutes. And any movement will activate the receiver.
The transmitter will go into sleep mode, if no operation is done after 20 seconds, and go into deep sleep after 2 minutes, press any key except the LED light key can activate the transmitter from sleep mode, and press the Mode button for 5 seconds to activate the transmitter from deep sleep mode
The system can be used for 1 or 2 receiver collars.
Two pairs of metal pin (short/long) to accommodate dogs with varied fur thickness.

How to use the IS-PET998DB training collar

• Step 1:
• Charge the transmitter:
• Charge the transmitter and after fully charged, the red light
• turns off automatically.
• Low Battery Indicator: The symbol appears on the bottom right side of the LCD screen when the battery volume is low.
• How to use the transmitter:
• 1. To activate/deactivate the transmitter. press any button to activate the transmitter. and Hold the transmitter for 5 seconds to deactivate it
• 2. Press up/down right buttons to adjust the vibration or static shock level
• 3. Choose different channel for 1 or 2 receiver collars.
• 4. The remote control will go into sleep mode if not used for 20 seconds and will automatically turn off if not used for 2 minutes.
• 5. In sleep mode, press any key (except LED key) to wake it up, When turn off the state, hold the transmitter for 5secconds to ACTIVE.

2nd step

• Charge the collar
• 1. Charge the Receiver Collar at least 6 hours for the first
• charge
• 2. After fully charged, the red indicator light will automatically turn off.
• 3. The receiver collar is waterproof. the rubber cover should be put in the right position, It may be difficult to put it back if you are not used to it, you can take out the screw first, and it can help you put the rubber cover to the correct position, then you need to fix the rear screw.

• Coding between transmitter and receiver collar:
• Note: We have completed Encode in factory, you don't need Encode.
• If
• 1. Remote transmitter does not control the receiver collar.
• 2. Or you press Y key within 30 seconds after putting on 2 receiver collars, default encoding is canceled, 2 receiver collars, default encoding is canceled, 2 receiver collars are re-encoded same canceled
• 3. Rechargeable battery has memory function, when you turn on the receiver collar, you don't have to encode every time, anyway if you charge the battery until you
• run out of battery, previous memory probably lost,
• Then you have to try encoding it yourself:
• 1. Turn on the remote by pressing for 5 seconds
• 2. Choose 1 or 2 channels
• 3. Put on the receiver collar
• 4. You can hear 1st beep from the receiver collar, press the Y button on the transmitter immediately.
• Note: Encode must be completed within 20 seconds after the 1st beep of the receiver collar, that means you must quickly press it or at least press the Y button within 20 seconds.
• 5. You will hear 2nd beep from receiver collar, which means Encoder is successful.
• Note: if you do not press the Y button after the 1st beep, but you hear 2 beeps from receiver collar, does not mean encode failed, you need to turn on the receiver collar by pressing the RESET button again and re-encode .
• 6. For 2nd Encode Receiver Collar, repeat step 2 to 5, please make sure to choose different channel with 1st Receiver Collar,
• Note: The factory set fault is to encode within 30 seconds after putting on the receiver collar, so when you
• encode with 1st receiver collar, please do not turn on 2nd receiver collar, or put 2nd collar near remote transmitter avoiding coding same channel with 1st collar.

Step 4:

• To test Taotronics rechargeable and waterproof LCD remote pet training system,
• The static pulse released by the receiver collar cannot be seen with the naked eye, you have two ways to test the stimulation:
• Static Test Shock Function:
• 1. Take the test bulb from the package and put it on the receiver collar Contact points
• 2. Press Mode button of transmitter, switch to shock mode, confirm LCD screen not to be 0, you can press UP/DOWN on right side to adjust.
• 3. Press Y key, test bulb flashes, it means the shock function works.
• Test vibration function:
• 1. Press Mode button of remote transmitter, switch to vibrate mode, confirm LCD screen not to be 0, you can press UP/DOWN on right side to adjust.
• 2. Press Y key, receiver collar, it means the
• shock function works.
• Test Beep Function:
• 1. Press the Mode button on the remote transmitter, switch to beep mode.
• 2. Press Y key, the receiver collar will beep, it means Beep mode is working.
• Test LED function
• Press the LED button, and LED lights up, it means LED mode is working.
• Noticed:
• If the remote transmitter's LCD does not display, there are probably two reasons:
• 1. Slightly sleep: To save power, the remote transmitter will go into sleep mode if no operation within 20 seconds, press any key except LED button can activate the Remoter transmitter , LCD screen displays.
• 2. Deep sleep: To save power, the remote transmitter will go into sleep mode if no operation is performed after 2 minutes, hold the mode button 5 seconds can activate the remote transmitter, screen LCD displays.
• The receiver collar will go into deep sleep if no operation for 4 minutes. And any movement will activate the receiver.
• If the receiver collar does not respond when you press the Y button, and indicator light of receiver collar is not on either, you can shake the dog receiver collar movement, indication light of receiver collar show green , and means receiver collar is activated and working..
• When testing, you can choose any mode except LED light, anyway when you are in vibration or static shock mode, intensity level can't be 0, you can press UP/DOWN to adjust.
