Aetetek AT-918-C Dog Training Collar User Guide
The kit included:
First charge the receiver and controller for 3 hours.
Synchronize the training collar:
To synchronize the receiver with the training remote control, simply stick them together.
All this done by induction.
Locate the small circle on the receiver:
And the sensor on the remote control is located on the back:
Stick the two small circles one on top of the other for 5 seconds.
The receiver rings and a red light comes on.
With the button on the side of the remote control, choose channel, 1 or 2.
Then press one of the 3 buttons on the front of the remote control, either vibration, sound or shock.
The collar rings again, it is now in sync.
If you have 2 collars, select channel 1, synchronize, then select channel 2 then synchronize the other collar.
You can control one collar at a time on either channel 1 or 2.
You can also control both collars at the same time, on channel 00.
The functions of the Aetertek AT-918-C training collar:
The wheel is used to adjust the intensity of the shock and sound.
The button on the side is used to choose the channel where the anti-bark is activated.
To activate anti-bark:
Hold down the button on the side of the remote control for 5 seconds (This is the same button as for channel selection.)
If a blue light comes on, the anti-bark is working.
If this feature is more or less useful to you, here's how to disable it.
To deactivate the automatic anti-bark function:
Hold the button on the side of the remote control for 5 seconds, a red light flashes.
(The red light will turn off when you release the button)
The anti-bark function is now deactivated.
Using the manual training functions:
To send a sound signal, press the middle button.
For vibration, press the bottom button.
For electrostatic shock, press the top button.
To test the shock:
To find out if the shock is working, there is a small tester included in your kit.
Place it on the receiver's contact points, like this:
Then select intensity 1 or +, press the lightning bolt, i.e. the top button on the remote control.
If the shock is functional, the tester light will turn on.
Never put the collar on your dog for more than 12 hours a day.
You must leave at least one finger between the collar and the dog's neck.
This training collar should under no circumstances be used with the aim of injuring an animal.
If your dog exhibits aggressive behavior, consult a dog trainer before using this type of training collar.
