Amicus is not just another “small bite” formula, but rather a uniquely formulated kibble that offers an alternative to the “one size fits all” approach of most conventional pet foods. This is a three-animal protein diet, based on fresh turkey, chicken and wild salmon, with a concentration of animal protein. It uses red lentils and peas as an essential source of carbohydrates, offering a much lower glycemic index for better preventive management of obesity and high levels of antioxidants for prolonged maintenance of the immune system. Amicus kibbles are smaller and lighter, softer, allowing for a manageable bite size, easier chewing and efficient digestion for small digestive tracts.
