Why is taurine essential for cats?
Unlike dogs (omnivores), the cats are obligate carnivores and cannot synthesize taurine. A deficiency can cause serious heart and vision problems. Open Farm consistently adds a sufficient amount (0.2%).
What is yucca schidigera?
The yucca Schidigera (Mojave yucca) is a desert plant known to help with reduce stool odors. Excellent for indoor cats that use a litter box daily.
