Advantage® II is a monthly topical flea treatment for dogs that kills fleas on contact, so fleas don't need to bite to die. Advantage® II quickly kills fleas within 12 hours of initial application. Re-infestations of fleas are killed within 2 hours and protection against new infestations lasts up to a month. Pyriproxyfen has the added benefit of killing flea eggs and larvae to effectively break the flea life cycle. For use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older, weighing 3 pounds or more.
