How it works

K9 Advantix II is applied to the skin along the dog's back. From there, it spreads evenly in a thin layer over the surface of the skin and binds to the sebum rather than being absorbed into the blood.

When parasites such as fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, or lice come into contact with the skin of the treated dog, their nervous system is immediately affected. The parasites quickly lose coordination and die — without having had to bite your dog. This protects your pet from the discomfort of bites, and may help prevent the transmission of diseases such as Lyme disease, heartworm disease, or anaplasmosis.

Directions for use

1. Remove a tube from its package and hold it upright, tip up
2. Break the tip of the tube by bending the nozzle
3. For dogs under 11 kg: apply the full contents of the tube to the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades
4. For dogs over 11 kg: apply the contents in 3 or 4 spots along the back, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, parting the fur to reach the skin
5. Allow to dry completely (about 24 hours) before getting wet, bathing, or letting another animal touch your dog
6. Repeat application once a month for continuous protection
