Why is taurine essential for cats?
Unlike dogs (omnivores), cats are obligate carnivores and cannot synthesize taurine from other amino acids. A deficiency can cause heart and vision problems. Open Farm adds it systematically to all its cat recipes.

Mojave yucca is a desert plant known to help reduce stool odor. An excellent addition to a cat recipe for indoor cats that use a litter box every day.
How to serve?
Serve as is, with no preparation. To stimulate appetite or hydration (especially important for cats), add a little warm water just before serving: the raw topping and bone broth will form a natural sauce. Fresh water available at all times. Gradually transition over 7 to 10 days.
