🐕 Small breed mini bites + enriched super mix + ancient grains + zero legumes
Chicken + turkey + fish meal + barley + brown rice + quinoa + kale + blueberries + cranberries + kelp + New Zealand green-lipped mussel for joint support. 27.5 % protein, 16 % fat, enriched profile for the energy needs of small breeds.
🐕 Why a small-breed-specific recipe?
Small breed dogs have a faster metabolism than large breeds: they burn more calories per kilogram of body weight. A recipe that's more calorie- and protein-dense is therefore suited to their needs. The mini bites are also better suited to their jaw and make chewing easier.
🧬 New Zealand green-lipped mussel: natural joint support
The New Zealand green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is one of the most complete natural sources of glucosamine, chondroitin, and ETA omega-3s. Especially useful for small breeds prone to joint issues (luxating patella, disc herniation).
🌾 Why ancient grains and not wheat or corn?
Barley, brown rice, and quinoa are authentic whole ancient grains, grown for thousands of years. Unlike modern wheat and corn, they are minimally processed, better tolerated, and offer a much richer nutritional profile. They are also easier to digest than conventional grains.
