Why bake it?
Baking (baked kibble) is a gentler method than industrial extrusion. It is done at a lower temperature and better preserves texture, flavor, and some nutrients. Kibble is usually crunchier and easier to digest.
Why brown rice and barley?
Brown rice and barley are digestible ancient grains, sources of fiber, complex carbohydrates, and B vitamins. Barley also provides beta-glucans known to support immunity and cardiovascular health.
