Puppy feeding guide

The ration depends on the puppy's current weight and their estimated adult weight. For puppies under 4 months old, 3 to 4 meals per day are usually given, then gradually reduced to 2 meals by around 6 months. For puppies whose adult weight will be under 9 kg, we recommend Acana Small Breed Puppy instead, which has smaller kibble suited to small jaws.

Is it suitable for large breed puppies?

No, for puppies whose estimated adult weight exceeds 25 kg, we recommend Acana Large Breed Puppy which has reduced fat to support controlled bone growth.

Up to what age should Acana Puppies be fed?

For medium breeds: until around 12-15 months. The transition to Acana Adult is done over 10 to 14 days.
