Will my dog like the fish taste?

Most dogs love fish, especially with the freeze-dried cod and liver coating. If your dog has never tried fish, we recommend a gradual transition over 10 to 14 days.

Will my dog smell like fish after eating?

Slightly, that's normal. The coat may take on a mild fish smell. Most owners stop noticing it once they're used to it, and the benefit for skin and coat more than makes up for it.

Acana Pacifica vs Orijen Six Fish?

Both are 100% fish. Orijen Six Fish goes further (85% animal ingredients, no potato/tapioca, higher protein ratio). Pacifica is more budget-friendly. For dogs with severe allergies, Six Fish is often worth the investment. For most, Pacifica is excellent.

Is it suitable for cats?

No, this recipe is formulated for dogs. For cats, we have Acana Pacifica for cats (a feline-specific formula).
