The line Boreal Health Grains includes nourishing ancient grains (barley, oats, brown rice) with a low glycemic index. The lines Original and Vital Grain-Free use only white beans and peas. Both approaches are valid: Grains Santé is an excellent choice for dogs that tolerate grains well and benefit from the complementary fiber. Grain-Free is better suited to dogs with digestive sensitivities to cereals.
