Why L-carnitine for large breeds?
L-carnitine is an amino acid that plays an essential role in transporting fatty acids to the mitochondria for energy production. For large breed dogs, it supports lean muscle mass, energy metabolism, and overall physical condition.
Green mussel: a recognized natural joint support
New Zealand green mussel (Perna canaliculus) is known for its natural concentration of glucosamine, chondroitin, and omega-3 fatty acids. It is particularly useful for large breeds, which are more prone to joint problems (dysplasia, arthritis).
How to serve?
Serve as is. To stimulate appetite or hydration, add a little warm water just before serving. Gradual transition over 7 to 10 days.

This version with ancient grains (oats, barley, brown rice) is ideal for dogs that tolerate grains well. The Grain-Free version uses potatoes and sweet potatoes. Both have the same special large breed formula with L-carnitine and green mussel.
This large breed formula was designed with an enhanced omega-3 profile (1.0% vs 0.25-0.5% in other RawMix) to better support the joints of large dogs, which are naturally more prone to dysplasia and arthritis. Omega-3s are recognized natural anti-inflammatories.
